Editorial standards
Our aim is to publish useful, original explanations rather than duplicate rulebooks or repurpose another publisher’s articles. Factual rules are checked against primary references, while the structure, examples and practical explanations are written for this site.
Sources and accuracy
We use the MCC Laws for underlying rules, relevant ICC or competition playing conditions for format-specific procedures, and manufacturer documentation for equipment instructions. Source links are included with articles. The rules adopted by your own competition may differ.
Original examples
Worked scores and practice scenarios are illustrative unless explicitly identified otherwise. They are not presented as real match records, experimental results or evidence of product testing.
Equipment advice
We explain selection criteria, fit and care. We do not invent testing sessions, user reviews, laboratory results or expert endorsements. A product’s own instructions and applicable safety requirements take priority.
Photography
Photographs are real, licensed images with documented sources. We do not use AI-generated cricket photographs, fabricated match scenes or synthetic product pictures. Each displayed photograph has a dedicated location; archive cards do not duplicate it. Contextual stock photography is not represented as our own demonstration or equipment test.
Responsible subject choices
This publication focuses on sport education and equipment. It does not provide betting tips, gambling referrals, pirated match streams or paid contest picks. Instructional content does not encourage harming an opponent or practising through injury.
Corrections and review
Rules and product instructions can change. We review affected explanations when relevant source material changes, and correct material errors when identified. An evergreen article still requires factual maintenance; it is not a claim that a rule can never change.
Advertising and commercial relationships
Advertising and any disclosed commercial relationships are kept separate from editorial judgements. Advertisements are distinguished from article content and must not be disguised as tool controls or downloads. Our privacy policy explains advertising-related data practices and privacy choices.
